2008 YOGA WEEKEND RETREATS

Ever have that feeling of needing a true get-away,

yet not being able to afford the money or the time to head to exotic places?

If so, this weekend retreat is for you!

with Yoga Teachers Libby & Michael Robold,

Directors of Yoga for Health Education, Center for Conscious Living

Join Libby and Michael Robold at their favorite retreat haven on a magical weekend excursion.  Enjoy 380 wooded acres on Lake Michigan with a mile of private beach.  Savor the beauty of northern Michigan’s Caribbean looking waters—now that is exotic!  Do yoga overlooking a magnificent landscape of water and earth.  Eat delicious meals and savor the sunset and the sunrise.  Why not take a mini vacation in your own back yard, right here in Paradise?

You’ll stay at a beautiful historic inn on Lower Herring Lake within a short walk to the Lake Michigan Beach.  Beautiful hiking with eye-pleasing vistas is optional on Saturday afternoon.  The relaxation and rejuvenation begins Friday evening with dinner and ends with a peace circle after lunch on Sunday.  Aside from great yoga, there will be a focus on Meditation practices that soothe the soul and the psyche.

The weekend begins with dinner on Friday evening and ends Sunday at 3 p.m.  Two breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included.  The daily schedule includes an optional early- bird meditation, two yoga sessions, nature meditations,  free time, evening hours devoted to just being in the moment with friends, and an optional bedtime meditation.  On Saturday afternoon you might find yourself biking, hiking, beach combing, doing art work, reading, enjoying silent time or having a massage or foot zone treatment.  Sunday, you’ll  return home refreshed and renewed, ready to get back to your everyday routine with vigor, stamina and peaceful energy.
