Concerning any illness, seasonal or COVID
Thank you for not coming when you feel ill or sense you are “coming down with something.”
Masking is optional, but we do encourage “masking” for a week after traveling.
We ask that you always keep a thoughtful distance from fellow students, and follow good hygiene with frequent hand washing.
Sneeze or cough into your inner elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it and wash your hands.
We care about you and appreciate it when you call in to let us know you are ill.
We strive to create a comfortable and safe space at YHE:
· Our building has a fresh air exchange in the ceilings and walls
· Each room has one or more relatively new, top-of-the-line, air purifiers
· Windows that open across the front of two classrooms, and wall ventilation of outside air in the smallest classroom
· Thorough cleaning with non-toxic cleaners
· The heating system is hot water heat; no air blowing onto students
With any infectious illness, you should not come to class if you feel “suspicious“ or ill. Choose not to attend if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, or have been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with or exposed to COVID or other seasonal illnesses.

Thank you for your consideration!
